Center on Wisconsin Strategy (COWS) - Milwaukee, WI
In Milwaukee, the Center on Wisconsin Strategy is
working with local political, labor, community, and business leaders on
a comprehensive retrofit of that city's building stock for energy
efficiency. Called Milwaukee Energy Efficiency (ME 2),
the project is estimated to generate at least 7,000 person years of
employment. These jobs will be sourced locally to those that need them
most. ME2 hopes to perfect an innovative model for financing building retrofits that can be applied to any American city.
